A very cheap solution to a very Comm'n problem in the Electric Rc Hobby
Having too much Fun and finding your lipo pack with a low voltage under 3v per cell ore one Cell
Normal charges have problems to start charging with a voltage under 3v and give you a Error
A low voltage Lipo Cell is not good for the lipo battery but you don't have to throw them away as long if the cell hold a charge...You can use my method
Iff the cell doesn't hold a charge and drop the voltage around 1v then you're at risk of blowing up your battery
Put in a safety lipo bag and bring it to the chemical deposit area in your neighborhood... don't play with it it's dangerous!!!
My method How To FIX a Lipo Battery is using a single cell lipo charger
your in control now and can charge each cell seperetly you do need to check iff you connect + to positive and - to negative check, check, and check!
If you don't know how to use a volt meter then don't Watch this Video it's at your own risk I'm not reliable for anything that can happen to you!
The idea started when I stumble on a youtube video showing me to use a different charge than lipo the NiCd charge for 5 a 10min and when it's above 3 volts
You then can start using a lipo charger to do the rest and fill it up a 100%
Well, i didn't think that was very smart because your battery is already hurt and now you charge it using NiCd charge not meant for lipos... NO WAY!
Most of the times it's just one cell that's low and not all...!
So we hade to come up with a method how to fix a lipo battery without charging all the cells just the oné that needs it and doing it with a lipo charger no NiCd or anything else
So first we hade a good look on how this cheap 2s to 4s chargers work and found that they charge each cell separate true the balance wire's
After looking up a diagram of a lipo battery internal cell connections we came to the conclusion
that its very simple Fix with a single cell lipo charger that comes supplied with Mini Rc Toys that's where I found the one that I'm currently are using
I never thought we need to make this video because I thought Bruce from Rc Model reviews and xjet is making this video but no he copy the other guys that already done it on youtube
